Designed to support AI, cloud and sovereign computing workloads, the facility will deliver high-density, latency-sensitive compute capacity within one of Southern Europe’s fastest-growing technology hubs. The 30,000 m² metropolitan site has been selected for its connectivity, strategic urban positioning and ability to support next-generation digital infrastructure close to enterprises and population centres. Built with Ark’s established approach to resilient, scalable and energy-conscious design, the campus will prioritise high-efficiency cooling systems, responsible water management and long-term grid resilience. As demand for inference, sovereign compute and AI-enabled services accelerates across Europe, the Barcelona campus strengthens Ark’s ability to deliver critical infrastructure in constrained, high-barrier urban markets while supporting the region’s wider technological and economic growth.
